Get Your Hawaii Real Estate License

Please note:
We are no longer selling the Hawaii Salesperson Pre-License course. Customers who currently have the course in their account must complete it by 9/9/2024.

What are the requirements?

Before you do anything else, take a moment to review the salesperson real estate licensing requirements in Hawaii. If you’re new to this, the required license education is called “pre-license,” and you’ll see the term “pre-license” throughout our website.

Hawaii Salesperson License Requirements

We offer only the Salesperson pre-license course in Hawaii. If you need a different type of license, and/or are unsure of what type of course you need, contact the Hawaii Real Estate Commission, which is part of the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA). This is the real estate regulatory agency in Hawaii.

What is a career in real estate like?

Real Estate Career Information
There are many benefits to obtaining your real estate license, and (like everything else in life) there are some negatives. Review our Real Estate Career Information page to learn more about a career in real estate, and tips on how to succeed.

Choosing a Company/Brokerage
Review our 12-Point Company Checklist to help you find the business model, environment, and culture you’ll best thrive in. Once you’ve completed your pre-license education and passed the license exams, your license application must be signed by the Principal Broker of the firm with which you will associate (click here for more details about the requirements). In the meantime, you will want to consider what kind of real estate company/brokerage you want to work for.
