  • The primary reason for a home inspection is to identity defects in the physical condition of the property. These defects can include problems in the plumbing system, heating/cooling systems, electrical systems, structural systems, roofing, siding, windows, and many other items.

    This course will help you assist your clients in choosing the right type of inspection needed. It will also provide the necessary resources to help buyers obtain complete information concerning the physical condition of the property they are purchasing.

    Richard Kilian

    Richard Kilian has been a residential home inspector for over thirty years and has inspected over 13,000 homes. In addition to buyer inspections, he is licensed with several different communities to provide point of sale city inspections. He was also licensed for 10 years as a residential building contractor. He attended the University of Texas at El Paso, The El Paso School of Electronics, the University of Minnesota, and Metro State University. He is currently inspecting homes, consulting, and lecturing real estate agents on home inspection issues.
