    - Understand the history of real estate and the government practices that institutionalized racism in real estate

    - Identify MN organizations that currently work towards eradicating racism in real estate

    - Identify the real estate professional’s role in ensuring fair housing for all

    - Examine individual bias that interferes in the effective and fair practice of real estate

    - Create a diverse business model and understand the benefits of diversity


    Here is additional information concerning the required 2021-2022 continuing education module training course. There is one 3.75-hour module course that both salespersons and brokers must complete. Completion of this course will also satisfy the 1-Hour Broker Module Requirement. In other words, there will be no separate broker module course for 2021-2022. Completion of this course will also satisfy the 1 hour of Fair Housing as required in Minn. Stat. §82.61.(c) (2).

    Peggy McNamara has been in the real estate industry since 1992. She sold real estate full time for several years before entering into real estate education and training. She is certified as an online instructor by the International Distance Education Certification Center (IDECC).
     
    Peggy was the Director of Education of a multi-office brokerage from 1997-2003. She also owned a pre-license real estate school in Minnesota, and has been Vice President of Agent and Client Services for a multi-state brokerage.
     
    Peggy understands the real estate business from many aspects, as well as its inherent challenges and opportunities. She is passionate about helping real estate agents and brokers earn better incomes, and live fuller lives.

According to MN Statute 45.30 (c), “A Licensee must not receive credit for more than eight hours of continuing education in one day.” The date you receive credit for our courses is the date you complete the final exam, according to Central Standard Time.
